Trigger Point Myotherapy Procedure

Pain is often a warning of a medical problem. A medical diagnosis and referral from a physician, chiropractor, dentist, or osteopath assures that pathological problems will not interfere with Trigger Point Myotherapy treatment. Certified Trigger Point Myotherapists are educated and trained in anatomy, exercise, sport sciences, and myofascial pain therapy treatment. They are not diagnosticians.

Treatments are scheduled by appointment only.
Appointment hours are: Monday – Thursday: 10 am – 7pm, Fridays: 10am – 5pm.

Initial appointments last 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and include a medical history review and assessments to assist in developing a treatment plan. Subsequent treatments are scheduled on an hourly basis, or by special arrangement. All treatments are one-on-one with the therapist.

Please note that payment is due at the time of treatment, and missed appointments will be charged!

A physician’s referral is not necessary for treatment.

Worker’s Compensation and automobile accident cases require written pre-authorization from a doctor.

Physician’s referral, with diagnosis, and pre-certification of insurance is recommended before the subsequent treatments can begin. A payment receipt will be provided for the patient’s reimbursement if applicable.
